TRAP GAME

Trap Game is Andy Donnelly’s full-length drama following a professional hockey team on the verge of winning their first championship when a rookie player is sexually assaulted by a trusted coach.

The play deals with the complex of issues of trauma in hyper-masculine environments, while weaving in real 19th-Century sea shanties to highlight the generational, and cyclical nature of that trauma.

Following a workshop production of the play at the Brooklyn Art Haus in October 2024 (directed by Andy Donnelly), Trap Game is seeking to take the next step, and is open to collaborators.

Ordinary Days

By Adam Gwon

Produced by Big Picture Theatre Collective, Andy co-directed this production of Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days at the Brooklyn Art Haus.

Using the venues five-wall projection system, Andy immersed the audience in the world of the musical, seemlessly taking them from the greenery of Greenwich Village, to the art-filled hallways of the Met.

In addition to designing the projections, the unique stage layout, and working closely with fellow co-director Danielle Stanek, Andy performed in the production as Jason.
